I've decided that worrying about kidney stone time bombs is silly. With one precaution I've started planning outings more distant than the nearest town, and it's a precaution I'd prefer to do anyway: Going somewhere with a companion or three. Hike Trek: The Next Generation
Circumstances kept us from getting up to the Peaks of Otter yesterday...but among other things, Laurie and I were still able to take my 10-year-old niece Alex hiking at my favorite spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway: where it meets the Roanoke River. The Happy List
- Saw the late showing of the new Indiana Jones flick last night with Tamara / mauzybroadway at my favorite theater in Roanoke, the Grandin. I'm still humming the music, particularly Indy's theme.
